Basic snow safety course with Tyin Aktiv
Attendance at 20:00 on the start date (start date). The course will be held over the next two days.
This course is suitable for those who have no prior knowledge of avalanches, or who have taken a shorter introductory course previously and want to expand their knowledge register.
Learning goals
- Recognize avalanche terrain
- Use of rule-based methods for planning and decision-making on tour
- Know how human factors affect group dynamics
- Be able to do effective rescue
- Knowledge of different types of snow
